Microsoft Website Animation

Back in 2020, I had the opportunity to work on the marketing website for Microsoft Azure. I worked on the animations used in each page. We used SVG animation sequences using Lottie player instead of traditional Gif/Movie files.

Using lossless vector files resulted crisp quality of animation on multiple screen sizes. I Illustrated each scene and transfer them to After Effects for animation. Once done, I collaborated with the Art Director and the Web Developers to implement the animated sequences as .JSON on webpages. It was essential to tweak the animations so that it doesn’t affect the loading time.

Lottie Animations:

I animated 15 loopable scenes in total that were used in the landing page, hero and card sections.
